Job Responsibilities:

● Sales & Account Management:

o Serve as the main point of contact for direct buying accounts (e.g., OEMs, Tier1 companies, fabric and garment manufacturers) to build strong and sustainable client relationships. Provide timely support based on customer size (Key Partners, Important Customers, General Customers, or Long Tail) to maintain and grow revenue.

o Investigate the industry value chain and supply chain in your region to identify all relevant players, market shares, and supply relationships. Support the regional marketing team and leadership in mapping the industry value chain both regionally and globally.

o Manage price quotations within agreed time frames and negotiate prices according to the defined authority in the pricing tool (Sales-Region Leader-Product Leader-General Manager-Company). Close agreements to maximize profits and extend successful partnerships.

o Support regional marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and association events in collaboration with the marketing team.

o Identify areas for improvement and work with cross-functional internal teams to enhance overall sales revenue, margin levels, and customer experience.

o Proactively support the regional and headquarters teams in industrializing new production, identifying translation opportunities for existing applications, or introducing new products to key accounts.

o Monitor and analyze how our products are used by value chain players compared to competitive products to gain additional market share where possible.

o Provide forecast input to regional or HQ sales leadership and supply chain teams to ensure optimal supply.

o Document progress, issues, and support needs in CRM, weekly reports, and monthly reports to ensure oversight and informed business decision-making.

● Business Development:

o Develop an in-depth understanding of key accounts' business, vision, mission, culture, drivers, strategy, goals, and how they generate revenue and win in the market. Build a pipeline of new opportunities through effective prospecting techniques and efficient lead management.

o Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers across all levels and functions within accounts to create long-term, strategically aligned partnerships.

o Manage incoming leads from existing or new OEM/Tier1/Specifier accounts and provide advanced technical and regulatory support to convert leads into qualified opportunities.

o Identify customers' needs and desires (both defined and undefined) to determine target opportunities in the short, medium, and long term and convert them into revenue.

o Support Strategic Market Assessments (SMAs) by investigating market trends, validating assumptions from strategic marketing, or delivering compelling solutions to key stakeholders at customers to grow revenue in new market segments.

o Negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), and drive Sales Agreement (SA) discussions.

o Drive coordination of all targets until commercialization, using various tools to monitor project readiness in terms of commercial, technical, manufacturing, and legal/regulatory aspects to deliver the first 12 months of revenue.

What We're Looking For:

● Knowledge & Abilities:

o High ambition, a "can-do" attitude, and entrepreneurial spirit (as the initial employee in the region).

o Ability to identify and influence representatives of a company at any level.

o Ability to create commercial proposals based on a technical understanding of product value propositions.

o Demonstrated knowledge and use of consultative SMA approaches such as BCG Matrix/Product Leadership/PLC (desirable).

o Demonstrated knowledge and use of consultative sales approaches such as LTC/SPIN/IMPACT (desirable).

● Work Experience:

o Experience in the Meta Aramid industry, particularly in the European market. Familiarity with Meta Aramid garment manufacturing processes, industry standards, and quality control processes.

o Experience working with leading companies in the industry.

● Qualifications & Professional Memberships:

o Technical Degree or Relevant Background/Experience: Essential.

o B2B Sales Experience/Regional Experience: Essential.

o Language Skills: Native language of the region/English. Knowledge of the relevant industry/material (desirable). Chinese (desirable).
