Job: Sales & Business Development Manager - Metastar® Paper (India Market)
Location: Remote office based in India
Reports to: Regional Country Manager/General Manager

About the Role:
We’re seeking a driven Sales & Business Development Manager to lead our Metastar® paper sales efforts in India. You’ll build strategic partnerships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, specifiers, and distributors while expanding market share and enhancing customer experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales & Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and revenue growth.

- Market Expansion: Identify and engage decision-makers in industries like aerospace, transformers, and motors to build a robust sales pipeline.

- Value Chain Analysis: Map regional supply chains, analyze competitors, and identify opportunities to increase market penetration.

- Negotiation & Pricing: Manage quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals within agreed timelines to maximize profitability.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, technical, and supply chain teams to support new product launches and industrialization.

- Reporting & Forecasting: Track progress via CRM, provide accurate sales forecasts, and deliver weekly/monthly reports.

- Business Development: Prospect new clients, convert leads, and drive agreements (NDAs, LOIs, JDAs) to secure long-term partnerships.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

● Experience:

o 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably with aramid paper, insulation materials, or aviation/high-tech industries.

o Proven track record with OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers (e.g., Siemens, GE, Honeywell, Hexcel, Safran, or similar).

o Knowledge of materials used in transformers, motors, aerospace honeycomb cores, or electrical insulation.

● Skills:

o Strong consultative sales approach (e.g., SPIN, LTC, BCG Matrix).

o Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and create technical-commercial proposals.

o Fluent in English and regional languages; Chinese is a plus.

● Mindset: Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and results-driven with a “Can Do” attitude.
